Pottery produced by Josiah Wedgwood (1730-1795) and his successors at Stoke-on-Trent. The Wedgwood factory was renowned for its numerous innovations, including basaltes, creamware, pearlware, and particularly jasperware, the blue stoneware decorated with white relief scenes.
