Tournai porcelain

Founded in 1751, the Tournai porcelain factory was to become the most important porcelain factory in the Low Countries. At first, it produced soft-paste porcelain decorated in under-glaze blue in imitation of Meissen. From the 1760s the main influence was "a href="/s/se/sevres.html">Sèvres. The factory continued in operation until the mid 19th century.
