Saint-Cloud

A faience factory near Paris, established in 1666. It also produced soft-paste porcelain from 1693. Saint-Cloud was noted particularly for brilliant use of enamel colours in Kakiemon style, sophisticated blanc-de-chine imitations and small silver-mounted articles.
