Rookwood

American art pottery from a Cincinatti studio which was founded by Maria Longworth Nichols Storer in the late 1870s and which continued until 1941. It produced what is regarded as the finest American art pottery of the period, notable especially for floral decoration in coloured slips, strongly influenced by Japanese design.

The company was re-established in Cincinnatti in 2006.
