Bernard Moore (1850-1935)A Staffordshire potter who founded an art pottery at Longton in 1905. He was notable for his research into oriental and middle eastern techniques and he specialied in developing innovative glazes for his ceramics, reproducing Chinese flambé and sang-de-boeuf glazes as well as turquoise, crystalline and aventurine glazes and fine lustres.
