Émile-Aubert Lessore (1805-1876)

French painter and lithographer who turned to the decoration of pottery and porcelain.

In France he did work for Sèvres and in England for Minton but he is best known for the work he did for Wedgwood between 1858 and 1875 - see Lessore ware.
