Hyalith

Trade name for a kind of opaque glass made from 1820 onwards at several glasshouses in Bohemia owned by Count von Buquoy.

There were two varieties: a dark sealing-wax red , imitating Wedgwood's rosso antico; and black, imitating Wedgwood's basaltes ware.
