Albert Dammouse (1848-1926)

French potter and glass-maker. Trained as a sculptor in Paris, he began his career at Sèvres, where he was engaged in pâte-sur-pâte decoration. From 1882 he was mainly engaged in producing stoneware influenced by Japanese pottery. From 1898 he also turned to glass in the art nouveau style.
