Bristol porcelain

A soft-paste porcelain was made in Bristol by Benjamin Lund between 1749 and 1752, using Cornish soapstone.

A hard-paste porcelain was made in Bristol by William Cookworthy who transferred his factory there from Plymouth in 1770. This factory closed in 1781-2.
